Svetlana Eganian was formed at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow with prestigious teachers such as Bella Davidovich and Zinaida Ignatieva, a disciple of the legendary Samuel Feinberg. She successfully obtained the first four awards and qualification-concert soloist, chamber musician, teacher and accompanist partner of opera singers, with praise from the jury of prominent members of the Russian school Tatiana Nicolaeva, Dmitrii Bashkirov, Evgenii Malinin Lev Naumov, Lev Vlassenko and Sergei Dorenski.
She moved to France and since then teaches at the National Conservatory of Music and Dance of Lyon.
Svetlana Eganian was for several years Artistic Director of the Trade Winds Music Academy in Rabat, Morocco and conducts an educational and artistic activities also in Guadeloupe, Marie Galante and Martinique, where she is invited each year for recitals, master classes, TV shows. She is also invited as Jury member or President of many international piano competitions in Belgium, Germany, Lithuania, Italy, Spain and France .
President and Artistic Director of the Grand International Piano Competition created in 1986, and the International Piano Competition in Lyon, created in 2009, she continued her concert career and performed numerous concerts with his faithful partners in France and abroad.
Her recordings have received the press praises: Four-star in "The World of Music" and Scale for the CD Grieg, Chopin, Liszt.
Its partners cellist Mark Drobinsky, tenor Georges Wanis, violinists Allissa Margouliss, Alexander Melnikov and Constantine Corfu, the Namur Chamber Orchestra led by Maître Jean-Luc Balthazar ...
She has also performed as a trio with musicians of the Orchestre National de Lyon.
Since 2011 she formed a duo repertoire for piano 4 hands and two pianos with his daughter Yolande Kouznetsov.
