PRIOR WINNERS (Second edition, 2017)

 

The three top prize winners performed at Carnegie Hall on 22 September 2017:  Anne-Luisa Kramb (violin) - Alexei Melnikov (piano) and Tamara Banjesevic (soprano).

The top award in the second category (CD release with the Orpheus Classical label, all costs covered) was allocated to Michele Angelini (tenor). In the previous edition, pianist Kotaro Fukuma recorded the album “Piano Fantasy”. The CD release included three popular masterpieces: Wandererfantasie (F. Schubert), Piano Fantasie (W. A. Mozart), and  “Moonlight” Sonata (L. v. Beethoven).

Kotaro Fukuma: piano

Pianist Emanuel Rimoldi received the "Ivo Pogorelich Award" on 2016, and had the opportunity to receive a Masterclass with this legendary Maestro (honorary president of the competition).
